The Heart Behind Creation Coffee

Creation Coffee was founded with one simple conviction: that a cup of coffee should do more good in the world than just taste great. We source exceptional small-batch, microlot coffees and roast them by hand in our log cabin in Weaverham, Cheshire — but the story starts long before the roast.

It starts with the farmers. With the communities. With the belief that how we do business is just as important as what we sell.

At Creation Coffee, sustainability is more than a principle — it’s a promise. We work closely with growers through direct trade, ensuring farmers receive a fair and sustainable price for their coffee. Every bag represents a conscious choice to protect both people and planet, building a future where quality and care go hand in hand.
Our roasting process is as personal as our coffee. Each batch is hand-roasted in a traditional drum roaster in our log cabin at the bottom of the garden. This small-batch approach lets us bring out the full character of every origin — rich, balanced, and full of life. True craftsmanship, done the old-fashioned way.
Every coffee has a story — one that begins in the rich soils of distant farms, where generations of growers pour their skill and passion into every harvest. We source directly from producers who share our respect for the craft and the land, ensuring each bean reflects the care, culture, and connection of its origin. Meet Jon Cook — Founder & Roaster

Jon is a Cheshire-based Christian who has been roasting coffee out of his garden log cabin for several years. What started as a passion for specialty coffee quickly became something more: a way of living out his faith through work, generosity, and care for others.

Jon is active in his local church and runs the Stronghold Café in Cheshire — a community space where good coffee and good conversation go hand in hand. Creation Coffee is an extension of the same heart that drives that work: the belief that business can bless people, not just profit from them.

Every roast is done by hand, every origin is chosen with intention, and every bag that leaves the log cabin carries a bit of that purpose with it.
