Coffee for Churches

Practical, great-tasting coffee for Sunday services, midweek groups and community events. Hand-roasted to order in Cheshire, with no minimum order and 10% of every sale going to Compassion UK.

How Much Coffee Does Your Church Need?

As a rough brewing guide, a 250g bag of filter coffee makes around 20–25 standard cups. Use this as a starting point when working out how much to order — you can always adjust once you know your congregation's habits.

Church size After-service coffee Suggested order
Small (20–30 people) Roughly 1–2 pots 1–2 bags per week
Medium (50–80 people) Roughly 3–4 pots 3–4 bags per week
Large (150+ people) Multiple urns / batch brews 6+ bags per week, or a standing order

Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers to the questions churches usually ask before ordering.

How much coffee do we need for after-church coffee?

As a rough guide, a 250g bag makes around 20–25 standard cups of filter coffee. A small church of 20–30 people typically needs 1–2 bags a week, a medium church of 50–80 people needs around 3–4, and larger churches often move to a standing weekly order. If you're not sure, get in touch and we'll help you work it out.

Do you offer decaf for churches?

Yes — we stock a naturally processed decaf (Colombia El Buho, sugarcane process) alongside our full range, so you can offer a decaf option at evening services or for anyone avoiding caffeine.

Can we set up a recurring or subscription order?

Yes. Our Coffee Club lets you set up a recurring delivery so fresh coffee arrives automatically before you run out — you can change the frequency or cancel at any time.

Is there a minimum order for churches?

No. Order a single 250g bag or set up a standing weekly delivery — whatever suits your church's size and budget. There's no minimum order quantity and delivery is free across the UK.

What grind should we choose for our filter machine or urn?

Choose the "Filter" grind option at checkout for standard filter machines and urns. We also offer whole bean, cafetiere and pour-over grinds if your church brews differently — just pick whichever matches your setup.

How is this different from the Scoop & Save programme?

Scoop & Save is specifically for churches currently using individually sealed sachets. It swaps sachets for a bulk bag and a calibrated scoop, cutting packaging waste while keeping the same one-scoop simplicity. If you're not using sachets, a one-off order or Coffee Club subscription is the more straightforward option.

Do you supply community groups and charities as well as churches?

Yes — alongside churches, we supply charities, community centres, hospices and other not-for-profit settings. The same ordering options (one-off, subscription or Scoop & Save) apply.
